Archival not-binned broad-band (0.2-12 keV) X-ray images of NGC 4490 around the position of SPIRITS 16az as indicated by the red cicles in each panel. The circle radii are 1″. The images were obtained by the Chandra ACIS-S camera on 2004-07-29 with an exposure time ~39 ks (left panel) and on 2000-11-03 with an exposure time ~40 ks (right panel). The X-ray images are shown on linear scale and were smoothed to facilitate perception of the source. North is up, east is to the left.
