Trajectories of pebbles with τf = 1.0 that started at (1.5;0) moving in the gas velocity field generated by planets with MP = 10 ME and MP = 25 ME . We plot the pebble trajectories in the rotating frame, and the planet position is marked by the black dot. The 10 ME planet does not generate a pressure bump, so the pebble drifts through all the way towards the inner boundary of the computational domain. The 25 ME planet, on the other hand, generates a pressure bump outside of its orbit and thus blocks the flow of pebbles.
