Pebble-isolation mass as a function of ∂lnP∕∂lnr of unperturbed discs with different surface density gradients. Steeper surface density slopes s result in more negative ∂lnP∕∂lnr values. All simulations have been performed for planets in discs with H∕r = 0.05, f = 0 and α = 0.001.
