Hydrogen column density maps of the HI, DNM (derived from the τ353 and γ-ray fits), CO-bright, and COsat (derived from the τ353 and γ-ray fits) components in the Chamaeleon region. The XCO and τ353∕NH scale factors used in their derivation come from the γ-ray analysis for optically thin H I.
