Equivalent widths as a function of time for lines of Fe i λ5500 Å with excitation energy Ei = 1,3,5 eV. The EWs are calculated by replacing the 2D hydrodynamic velocity field by an isotropic, depth-independent Gaussian microturbulent velocity of ξmic = 3 km s-1.
