The shaded regions show the average intensity of snapshots as a function of limb distance, μ, between the hydrodynamic values (lower limit) and the 100 G snapshots (upper limit) for various wavelength bins centred on 391.0 nm (blue), 611.0 nm (green), 1097.5 nm (red) and 1597.5 nm (magenta). The intensities have been normalised to unity at disc centre. There are no published measurements of limb darkening above 1098 nm.
