Notes. ⟨ N ⟩ is the mean number of objects that fall in each category for the whole set of 105 MC simulations, while σ(N) represents the corresponding standard deviation. The remaining columns give the proportions (in percentages) of YSOs and AGB stars for the objects within each category (%YSOs and %AGB, respectively), and the estimated 1σ uncertainties on these proportions (σ(%YSOs) and σ(%AGB), respectively). The different categories are explained in the text. The sample of R08 objects used to construct this table consists of the 5355 objects not affected by any kind of saturation in the UKIDSS images.
