Stellar evolutionary tracks around the RGB bump from Bertelli et al. (2008) for Z = 0.008 together with the position of KU Peg (dot with error bar). The numbers indicate the corresponding masses in M⊙. It suggests that M = 1.1 ± 0.1 M⊙ is the most likely mass for KU Peg.
