Pores belonging to active region NOAA 12118 were visible on the solar surface for about four days (2014 July 1720). Cutouts of HMI magnetograms and continuum images (100″ × 100″) show the temporal evolution of the region at four-hour intervals centered on the time of the GREGOR observations, that is, 08:00 UT on July 18. The magnetograms are displayed between ±250 G. The red line marks the magnetic neutral line at the respective time.
