Total number of galaxies either undetected or marginally detected at Nançay that would be detectable with the same sensitivity as our Arecibo observations, as a function of gi color. Black indicates Nançay non-detections and marginals, whereas the solid blue line is the estimated number of galaxies that would be detectable based on our Arecibo sample detection rate. The blue dashed and dash-dotted lines are based on, respectively, the upper and lower envelopes of the uncertainties in the detection rate, see Fig. 3.
