G-band PA diagram for RR Lyrae stars (blue: RRc, cyan: RRd, red: RRab pulsators), ACEPs (black filled circles), and T2CEPs (crosses) obtained by converting to G-band literature photometry from the catalogues of RR Lyrae stars, ACEPs and T2CEPs of the OGLE, and ASAS surveys of the LMC, SMC, and Galactic bulge and halo, by Soszynski et al. (2008b, 2009, 2010b,c, 2011a,b), Poleski et al. (2010), and Pojmanski (1997). The black solid line separates RRc from RRab types. Contamination between the two pulsation modes occurs close to the separation line; further contamination is also due to ACEPs.
