Examples of the PSF for the devices with the smallest (93.1 mas) and largest (132.4 mas) AL FWHMs. The largest FWHMs are in devices in one corner of the focal plane (AF1/2 in rows 6 and 7), while the smallest FWHM is close to the centre (AF5, row 2). The longer gates usually have larger FWHMs in the AL profile due to the variation in the PSF along the CCD. We also see here the effect of the greater AC smearing in the ungated PSF profile.
