5 GHz VLBA image of the radio counterparts of the γ-ray sources 1FHL J1315.0+2346 (left panel), classified as a BL Lac, and 1FHL J1942.8+1034 (right panel), classified as an active galaxy of uncertain type. The beam size is 1.2 mas × 3.0 mas and 1.3 mas × 3.1 mas, respectively. Levels are drawn at (− 1,1,2,4...) × the lowest contour (i.e., at 0.4 mJy/beam for the source 1FHL J1315.0+2346 and at 2.0 mJy/beam for the source 1FHL J1942.8+1034) in steps of 2. The noise level is 0.12 mJy and 0.50 mJy, respectively.
