Schematic of the SEPT instrument. Two equal double-ended telescope units are mounted oppositely to measure electrons and ions from both directions. The side covered by the Parylene foil (thin red line) builds the electron telescope while the side with the magnet (magenta block) is dedicated to ion measurements. The two solid state detectors in the center of the units (green lines) are operated in anti-coincidence.
