Notes.

(1)

Right ascension, declination, and scale heights from K-Band fits by Seth et al. (2005a);

(2)

position angle, inclination, morphology index, and rotational velocity from HyperLEDA (Paturel et al. 2003);

(3)

distance modulus and distance from Radburn-Smith et al. (2011);

(a)

While we list the inclination value from HyperLEDA here, our selection of edge-on galaxies was made based on a visual inspection of the images. Therefore we have included NGC 7814 because of its thin and straight dust lane, but excluded NGC 253 because of its visible spiral structure.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.

Initial download of the metrics may take a while.
