Notes. For all these models, the total accretion flux is set to 
erg s-1 cm-2. The values of τcor were chosen to be the maximum possible Thomson depth of a Compton cooled corona in hydrostatic equilibrium for the corresponding βm, , and χ (see Sect. 6). Tav is the resulting average temperature of the corona estimated using Eq. (17).
