HST/F814W image of the host galaxy of GRB 130925A. The image is 4″ × 4″ centred on the GRB host galaxy. It is displayed with a linear greyscale ranging from 0 count s-1 pix-1 (white) to 0.1 count s-1 pix-1 (black), and logarithmically spaced contours are shown in white. The position of the X-Shooter’s VIS slit with width 0.̋9 is indicated by the black dashed lines. The UVB and NIR slits have the same orientation. The position of the afterglow was determined from image subtraction between two HST/F814W observations taken 20 and 48 days after the GRB, and is indicated by the red cross. It falls within the emission region SF1 detected in our spectral data, which in the above image, corresponds roughly to the second dimmest contour plotted. The emission region, SF2, detected in our spectra and located 1.̋2 from SF1 is indicated at the SW corner of the outer contour plot by a blue ellipse.
