Second Palomar Observatory Sky Survey (POSS II, Reid et al. 1991) image around the CoRoT-28 (left) and CoRoT-29 (right) targets. We have over-plotted the CoRoT masks used in the observations and we give identification labels for the brightest, closest background stars. The mask of CoRoT-28 shows the subdivision in the three submasks, named from north to south: red, green, and blue.
