Notes.

Based on the CH column densities reported by Godard et al. (2012), for an assumed CH/H2 ratio of 3.5 × 10-8 (Sheffer et al. 2008), or – in the case of G29.96–0.02 – on the HF column density reported by Sonnentrucker et al. (in prep.), for an assumed HF/H2 ratio of 1.4 × 10-8.

Obtained from 21 cm observations performed with the JVLA (Winkel et al., in prep.) or the VLA (Fish et al. 2003, for the case of G29.96–0.02).

The errors in the derived abundances are dominated by uncertainties in the CH/H2 conversion factor (which is uncertain by a factor ~1.6).
