Evolution of rotation in our composite cluster between 100 Myr and 2 Gyr according to our rotational evolution model. The cluster is made up of ~1500 stars in the four young clusters Pleiades, M 50, M 35, and NGC 2516, all of which have ages ~150 Myr. The upper row shows the distribution predicted by evolving this composite cluster back to 100 Myr, and the other three rows show the distribution evolved forward to 500 Myr, 1 Gyr, and 2 Gyr. The left column shows the position of each star in the distribution and the right column shows the 10th, 50th, and 90th percentiles of the distribution as a function of mass for each age. The dashed lines show the saturation threshold determined by Eq. (6).
