Shift of the two cosmological parameters, ΩM and σ8, relative to the Chandra best-fit values for the X-ray analysis and relative to the Planck CMB results for the Planck analysis. The Chandra error ellipses are derived from hydrostatic masses of the HIFLUGCS clusters using Chandra temperature profiles and the Tinker halo mass function, the gray ellipse giving the results assuming a 20% hydrostatic bias. The XMM-Newton error ellipses are derived using the Chandra temperature profiles and by rescaling these profiles using Eq. (3) and Table 2. The Planck error ellipses are approximated from Planck Collaboration XX (2014).
