IR/UV luminosity ratio versus UV slope β for our objects. The typical uncertainty on LIR/LUV due to the unknown dust temperature is about ± 0.25 dex; uncertainties in β are typically ± (0.3 − 0.5) (cf. Sect. 4.1). The long-dashed, solid, and dashed lines show the relations for different attenuation/extinction laws for comparison (cf. Calzetti et al. 2000; Takeuchi et al. 2012).

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
