Time evolution of the X-ray continuum flux, polarization degree, and polarization position angle in the 15 keV (top figure), 712 keV (middle), and 2050 keV band (bottom) resulting from an occultation event. The eclipsing cloud covers 50% of the extended continuum source, and three different hydrogen column densities are considered for the gas (black: 1021 cm-2; red: 1023 cm-2; and orange: 1025 cm-2). Since that PnH = 1025 cm-2 is too small, it does not appear in the top figure (see text).
