The slopes of the EM distribution in the 1–3 MK temperature range, as estimated from the AIA DEM, the approximate Pottasch method applied to the AIA data, the EIS DEM, and the Pottasch method applied to the EIS observations. The AIA slopes are obtained from full-resolution (1′′) images averaged over 13:30–13:31 UT. The top row shows the images of the slopes, the middle the profiles along the vertical line shown in the images, and the bottom row the histograms of the distribution of the slopes.
