Hα image of PKS B1718–649 from the CTIO 1.5 m telescope. The field is 2.3′ × 2.3′ with north at the top. A complex extended emission region is visible, with a strong concentration N-S from the nucleus. An extensive filamentary structure seems to follow the spiral structure seen in the I band (Keel & Windhorst 1991). The unresolved radio source is marked in white.
