Approximate posterior distributions for a range of Lmax. The distributions have broad tails to high values because of the small number of large-scale modulation modes that are measured, and hence large cosmic variance. For Lmax ≥ 3 the distributions are pulled away from zero by the significant octopole modulation signal observed, and are gradually move back towards zero as we include more modulation modes that are inconsistent with large τNL values. As shown in Fig. 20 the octopole has significant frequency dependence and is therefore unlikely to be physical.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.

Initial download of the metrics may take a while.
