Top panels: prominence observed on September 24, 2013, at 12:22 UT in 193 Å (left), and in 304 Å (right) from SDO/AIA. The black arrows and the letters A, B, C indicate feet of the 304 Å prominence. The white arrows are other feet only present in 193 Å. Bottom panels: prominence observed in Hα by the MSDP (left) intensity, and (right) Doppler shift in Hα± 0.3 Å. Black/white (blue/red in the online edition) indicate blueshift/redshift limited to ±2 km s-1. The boxes in the 304 Å image and in the Doppler shift image are approximately the field of view of the IRIS slit jaws (50 × 50 arcsec).
