Comparison of the 2D probability P2D relative to the 3D probability P3D of the sources that are selected by means of Monte Carlo simulations in the case of the Pleiades MG. Each panel is composed of two plots that show the results for the member (upper plot) and non-member (lower plot) samples. On the top left panel, we display the distribution of sources whose classifications from both of our methods are in full agreement (red), possible agreement (blue), possible disagreement (orange), and complete disagreement (green). On the other panels, we present such a distribution for every membership status where the color scale codes the density gradient.
