Same image reconstruction experiments as in Fig. 1 but with three different angular resolutions: (left column) resolution λ/D, or standard diffraction-limited resolution obtained by convolving the IRBis reconstruction with the diffraction-limited PSF of the interferometer, (middle column) resolution λ/2D (super-resolution), and (right column) IRBis reconstruction without convolving the original IRBis reconstruction with a PSF (i.e., some smoothing is only caused by regularization). The original synthetic target (diameter = 5.6 mas; see Table 2 for more details) is shown at the top with resolutions λ/D, λ/2D, and without any convolution (from left to right). For each reconstruction, the same information labels as in Fig. 1 are given. See text for more details.
