AR11520 on 14/07/2012 is an example of a sunspot with a large umbra. The red contour shows the threshold level (0.6 of mean quiet-Sun intensity) used to select the umbra. The spot has a heliocentric angle of μ = 0.86. The total area of the largest four umbrae is 206 MHS.
