Distribution on the sky of observed LMXBs and HMXBs sources used in the calculations for energy ranges 3−20 keV and 17−60 keV with the pointsize proportional to their luminosity in the indicated energy range. A concentration of HMXBs can be seen along the lines of sight tangential to the spiral arms.
