690 out of 714 stars in our sample are also present in the GCS. The figure shows ULSR, VLSR, WLSR velocities versus [M/H] for the ~14 000 stars in the GCS (grey dots), and open circles show our stars (those with [M/H] > −2). Note that all metallicities, [M/H], are from the Strömgren calibration by Casagrande et al. (2011).
