Lyα (blue lines) and UV (red lines) escape fraction as a function of the dust optical depth for different values of covering factor CF in the high-contrast regime (n_IC/n_C = 0.00). In this figure, all media have common parameters: FF = 0.23, n_ic/n_c = 0.00, = 10¹⁹ cm^-2v_exp = 0 km s^-1, and b = 40 km s^-1. The values τ_c1, τ_c2, and τ_c3, corresponding to the values of where the Lyα and UV escape fractions of CF₁, CF₂, and CF₃ cross, are marked. While f_esc(UV) always converges towards the limit f_esc(UV) = 1 − CF in extremely clumpy media, f_esc(Lyα) shows higher values.
