Hα images of the active region NOAA 10763 obtained with the slit-jaw camera at the VTT. We can follow the evolution of the filament from the beginning of the observation at 14:38:33 to the end of the scan at 15:02:30. The drop-shaped dark feature in the lower-right part of the image is an artefact. The temporal evolution of the filament can be seen in a movie attached to the on-line edition.
