Comparison of our scattering code used in the advanced scattered moonlight model with libRadtran (commonly used radiative transfer code), including single, double and multiple scattering. In different colors we have plotted the relative intensities for each based on the maximum zenith distance of the Moon (source) or target (observer). When both zenith distances are below 50° the agreement is excellent. See Sect. 2.4 for more details.
