Deconvolution result from a adaptive quadtree refinement process for channel 63 of the NGC 2403 dataset. The first panel shows the result of the SL1M algorithm at the lowest resolution of 32 × 32 64′′ pixels. The second panel shows the result of the SL1M algorithm after refinement of all pixels greater than 1 per cent of the maximum to a resolution of 32′′. Subsequent panels show refinement to scales of 16′′, 8′′, 4′′ and 2′′. All panels have been convolved with the synthetic beam of the telescope, and all levels were processed with λ = 300.
