Notes. We adopt a double Schechter function (see Eq. (2)) convolved with stellar mass uncertainties (see Appendix A) to fit the Vmax data points. A simple Schechter function is considered for the quiescent sample at z > 0.5. The slope α2 is set at − 1.6 for star-forming galaxies and the full sample at z > 1.5. We allow the slope to vary between − 1.9 < α2 < − 1.4 to compute the mass density uncertainties.
Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.
Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
Initial download of the metrics may take a while.
