Table 2

Averages of spectral parameters for Ch/Cgh asteroids and CM meteorites.

Spectral slopes (μm-1) 0.7 μm band
Albedo (%) Vis NIR1 * NIR2 * Center ( μm) Depth (%)
0.44–0.70 μm 1.10–1.45 μm 1.6–2.3 μm

Asteroids 6 ± 2 0.13 ± 0.22 0.19 ± 0.09 0.05 ± 0.04 0.71 ± 0.04 3 ± 1
Meteorites 5 ± 1 0.55 ± 0.33 0.39 ± 0.19 0.13 ± 0.11 0.72 ± 0.01 4 ± 1
Altered meteorites 4 ± 2 0.73 ± 0.47 0.25 ± 0.14 0.17 ± 0.15 0.68 ± 0.20 2 ± 1

Notes. For each spectral parameter, we present the mean value and the associated standard deviation for the asteroids, the meteorites, and the altered meteorites, respectively.

(*)

Recall that the NIR slopes were measured only for asteroids that have available data in this wavelength range. Calculations are presented for 43 asteroids (19 with NIR data), 44 meteorites and 36 laboratory altered meteorites.
