Experimental setup. The total vessel length depends on the number of assembled sections. The set of de Laval nozzles used in this work is shown on the left. All the nozzles have the same converging section and throat (radius = 1 mm), whilst the diverging section depends on the Mach number of the design. The output radii rn are 12.0, 35.7, and 60.9 mm.
