Comparison of three evolutionary tracks (for stars with 1.0, 1.2, and 1.5 solar masses), computed for metallicities of Z = 0.02 with those of Z = 0.01 (the left track of each pair) yields the position shifts used to project the stellar sample onto a common set of evolutionary tracks with Z = 0.02, as for Figs. 3 to 5).
