False-color composites depicting the environment of V2492 Cyg. Each image shows the same 3′ × 3′ area. The two leftmost images are linearly scaled, the two rightmost ones are logarithmically scaled. The V, R, I composite was constructed by shifting and co-adding several exposures taken with the Schmidt telescope at Konkoly Observatory, obtained between 2011 November 1 − 30. The J, H, KS composite was obtained with the WHT on 2011 July 22. The 70, 100, 160 μm composite uses all Herschel/PACS images taken between 2011 October 29 and 2012 January 11. The 250, 350, 500 μm composite is made of Herschel/SPIRE images taken on 2012 January 3. Gray × symbols mark the position of V2492 Cyg (α2000 = 20h51m2619, δ2000 = + 44°05′23
