Notes. M_d, t_d, α, H/R, r_in and r_out are the mass, the lifetime, the viscosity parameter, the thickness, the inner radius and the outer radius of the circumbinary disc, respectively (see also Fig. 2). μ is the reduced mass of the binary. See Sect. 4.1 for more details.
