Detections by algorithm varying by magnitude of star the event was injected into: dark blue/solid is BLS, green/dot-dashed is AoV 3D and green/dashed is AoV 2D. For example, the BLS algorithm detects almost 50% of events around 11–12th magnitude stars, but only 30% of transits around brighter 10.5 mag stars or dimmer 12.5 mag stars.
