Comparison of the light curves of the planetary candidate KOI 712.01 (KIC 9640976) and the eclipsing binary KIC 9641031. The left side of the figure shows the data of KOI 712.01 from the different quarters. The transit events are not seen in Q1, and the transit depth is not constant in quarters Q2 to Q6. The top part of the right side shows the light curve of the eclipsing binary and the lower part the data from quarters Q1 to Q6 of 712.01 folded at the ephemeris of the eclipsing binary. The secondary eclipse is visible in this data set (marked with an arrow in the figure).
