a) Eigenfunctions Vn for a reference model that consists of a loop with constant plasma parameter β and kink speed c. b) Sensitivity kernels Kn for the fractional kink speed perturbation made nondimensional by multiplying by the length scale L. c) Sensitivity kernels  for the overdensity. The different line styles correspond to different values of ϵ: solid ϵ = 0, dotted ϵ =  −0.01, and dashed ϵ =  −0.1. The perturbations induced in the eigenfunctions by buoyancy effects are negligible and nearly invisible. The perturbations to the kernels are more obvious. Note, that the kernels for the overdensity are miniscule in comparison to the wave speed kernels.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.

Initial download of the metrics may take a while.
