Large Magellanic Cloud H ii region N191. Upper panel: composite three-color image showing the two components A and B. The main component, N191A, is situated at α = 05^h04^m38^s and δ = –70°54′41′′. This image, taken with the ESO NTT/SuSI2, is a coaddition of narrow-band filters Hα (red), [O iii] (green), and Hβ (blue). The field size, 153′′  ×  153′′  (~37  ×  37 pc), is a close up of an original image covering a field of 319′′  ×  327′′  (78  ×  79 pc). North is up and east to the left. Lower panel: the same field through the broad-band filter V. The brightest stars of the field and the young stellar object candidates are labeled (Tables 2 and 3).
