Table 3

Best-fit model parameters for the high-velocity polar blobs of NGC 7027.

Blob section d off r h V * X(12CO) n T
(1016 cm) (1016 cm) (1016 cm) (km s-1) (cm-3) (K)

Inner 4.5
Outer 7.65

Notes. The sizes correspond to a distance to the nebula of 1 kpc. The uncertainty range is included for every parameter except the distance of the structure to the central star, which is assumed a priori based on existing maps. The X(13CO) abundances are 50 times lower than their X(12CO) counterparts.

(†)

Distance from the star to the center of mass of the given cylindrical section.

(⋆)

Radius of the cylinder.

(‡)

Height of the cylindrical section.

(*)

Velocity of the cylindrical section along the main axis of the nebula.
