Table 1

Critical H2 densities in cm-3 of the 1  →  0 and 4  →  3 transitions of H13CO+ and HN13C at various temperatures.

HN13C (1  →  0) 2.8 × 105 3.2 × 105 3.5 × 105 3.8 × 105 4.1 × 105
H13CO+ (4  →  3) 8.2 × 106 8.4 × 106 8.4 × 106 8.2 × 106 7.8 × 106
HN13C (4  →  3) 2.0 × 107 2.0 × 107 2.1 × 107 2.1 × 107 2.1 × 107

Notes. The critical densities were calculated using data from the Leiden Atomic and Molecular Database (Schöier et al. 2005). For HN13C the collisional coefficients for HNC (Dumouchel et al. 2010) were used, which were calculated using He as the collisional partner, then scaled by 1.37 to represent collisions with H2. For H13CO+ the collisional coefficients of HCO+ with H2 (Flower 1999) were used.
