A K-band image of the BD+40°4124 field from Davies et al. (2001). BD+40°4124 is the bright star in the northern part of the image, while the second bright star 26′′ to the south east is V 1686 Cyg. V 1318 Cyg is the double star system at the south eastern edge of the image. The southern star is the active one, showing strong H2 emission and powers a massive bipolar molecular outflow.
