Velocity field for one of our IFU observations in Baade’s window. The velocity for each pixel/fiber has been calculated using cross-correlation, where each fiber corresponds to 0.66′′. The VIMOS-IFU instrument allows clearly to distinguish between adjacent stars with different kinematics.
